#CelebratingSuper ~ Noteworthy initiatives taken by Vodafone in Delhi-NCR

Vodafone is one of the largest telecom companies in India and known for its wide coverage area, smooth customer service and innovative schemes to attract new customers. Did you know 1.2 crore people in Delhi use Vodafone.Vodafone receives 1 customer appreciation every 30 seconds. Wow!

Proving itself to be a responsible company, Vodafone has taken positive efforts in Delhi -NCR to make it better and smart city.

Delhi and NCR is a major hub for jobs, businesses and education but despite this development, it still has not attained that smart city tag. It has been grappling with major pollution issues and infrastructure deficiencies. With the Government urging people to help keep the area clean with initiatives like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and share ideas for development , companies like Vodafone are lending their help through innovative initiatives aimed at making this area more habitually efficient.

In today’s post, I will be sharing with you all some of the noteworthy initiatives by Vodafone in Delhi-NCR region aimed at helping not only the environment but also the residents of this area.

1) First Free Wi-Fi bus shelter in Gurgaon

Vodafone came up with the first free wi-fi bus shelter in Gurgaon that offers twenty minutes of free surfing to all people irrespective of whether they are Vodafone customers or not. This initiative not only connects people digitally but also encourages people to use public transport; therein helping reduce pollution!

2) Free air-purifying bus shelter in Delhi

Vodafone took the initiative of creating an air-purifying bus shelter in Delhi that provides clean air to people waiting for a bus! With the air so polluted in Delhi, this shelter is really a patch of fresh air!

3) Free Wi-Fi centers in over 120 locations in Delhi- NCR

Thanks to Vodafone, there are 120 free wi-fi zones in Delhi- NCR area in places like the DLF Mall of India, Fortis Hospital and Khan Market. By bringing digitisation to this area, Vodafone is helping people connect digitally.

4) A great supporter of startups in Delhi-NCR

Vodafone has been helping startups in their incubation stage by providing them with Free Vodafone products that are helpful in their business and these products often go upto 2,00,000 INR!

Oyo and Zomato are startups that got Vodafone’s support and are so famous today.

5) Green Diwali

Vodafone encouraged people to not fire crackers this Diwali and provided Super Crackers that contained eco-friendly seeds that were available at all Vodafone stores in Delhi-NCR.

We just had to plant them and let the plants bloom. This worthy initiative came after the Supreme Court banned the firing of crackers in Delhi so as to keep the pollution levels down during Diwali.

By this initiate, Vodafone encouraged the planting of more trees, leading to more greenery and lesser pollution!

With the increasing pollution in Delhi-NCR, it is high time now that we take steps to save the environment and also help in making our city a super city. Vodafone is #CelebratingSuper with its super initiatives that are an inspiration to everyone and prove that if we have the dedication, we can do anything.

I congratulate Vodafone for its praiseworthy efforts and pledge to lend a hand in bettering my area. Even the smallest act of not littering can help.

Take a pledge today to make our Delhi and NCR a better, smart city and I hope Vodafone continues the good work.

Why MatrikaS The Creative Woman's Journal is suited to not only women but men too? - A Review

MatrikaS The Creative Woman's Journal is the new range of journals from this award winning paper products brand. I have become a huge fan of MatrikaS products where each item promises a suave mix of beauty and innovation unlike any other in the market.

I heard about this new range and while it is presented as being centered around creative women, I can attest to the fact that even men will like it!

In today's post, I will share why I have come to adore MatrikaS The Creative Woman's Journal and why I recommend it to everyone, not just women.

The Creative Woman's Journals come in four variations Feather- To Write

Butterfly- To Dream
Fish- To Glide and
Dragonfly- To Fly

  • I used Dragonfly- To Fly avatar which has a rich brown cover with an enchanting dragonfly drawing in gold with gold dots all over the back and front cover giving it an premium look. The word "fly" is beautifully meshed with the tail of the dragonfly making it an extension of the sketch which I just loved.

MatrikaS The Creative Woman's Journal Review

  • The cover material is also noteworthy. It is cotton cloth and very different from the various other journals in the market.

  • It is also hard bound so is sturdy and long lasting.

  • The size of this journal makes it suitable to be carried in your bag, it has 224 pages and light weight.

  • It has ruled sheets with date that can be used as a normal diary.

  • Eight colouring sheets with nature themed drawings had me smiling and are a great stress buster.

  • There are doodle sheets too where you can doodle to your heart's content.

  • There are lovely and engaging stickers also provided that will inspire you to grow and schedule your day better.

MatrikaS The Creative Woman's Journal Review
  • The pages are crisp, high quality paper in single colour tone.

  • A satin page marker also adds beauty and solves the problem of marking pages that I faced in my previous journals and diaries where I had to buy markers separately.

  • The rounded edges of the journal also make it stand apart and less prone to damage.

  • A pen holder and elastic for safe locking have again impressed me.

  • A cute pouch is also provided on the back cover to store stuff.

  • Separate pages titled as "Places to be visited", "Books to be read", "Names and Addresses" are again very useful and for people like me who like to make lists very appealing.

  • As if all this is not enough, the Creative Woman's Journal comes at an attractive price of just 450 INR.

All in all, the Creative Woman's journals are unique and so appealing both in looks and utility that it shows how much effort has gone in brainstorming these innovative journals. While the company says they are apt for women, I feel they are apt for men too. I have been using MatrikaS The Creative Woman Journal for more than a month and at no time felt like it wasn't meant for me.

Loving everything about it, I totally recommend these journals to all the men out there. Don't go by the name, test it yourself. Gift them to yourself and to your loved ones. They will love you for it!
