Recipes that make me drool!

I love to eat and you can judge my passion for food from my eclectic tastes and ofcourse my refrigerator which hosts a variety of things and which in my mother's words can "feed the entire colony"!

Give me tasty food and I am a happy man! While I love experimenting with new recipes and am always on the lookout for food that looks yummy and also tastes yummy, there are a few recipes that are sure to make me drool. I can give up any food option if they are in front of me and if I have a choice of eating either of the two.

Today, I'll share some of my favourite recipes that never let me down and which are guaranteed to make me happy and satisfied.

1) Ma ke hath ki Dal Makhani
There is nothing more tasty than a meal cooked by a mother. Even normal recipes turn into extraordinary when she cooks them. Being a Punjabi, Dal Makhani is a normal presence on our meal list but nothing beats the Dal Makhani prepared by my mother because there is the extra ingredient called 'LOVE' added to it.

Give me Dal Makhani with either white butter or fresh cream and I am happy. It doesn't matter if there is chapati, naan or rice with it. I can even eat this recipe alone and still be super satisfied with a contented smile on my face!

2) Chicken Biryani
I just love the aroma, the long grains of rice perfectly cooked in rich spices and complemented with expertly cooked chicken in a Chicken Biryani. I love all kinds of Chicken Biryani be it Hyderabadi or Lucknowi or some other varied preparation like the Sindhi Biryani from other parts of the country.

Give me a plate of steaming Chicken Biryani and you have really made my day!

Did you know that there are almost 12 types of Biryani that I have tried and I have been told that this number is not even the half of the number of variations that exist in India. Cool, isn't it!

This is a Tamil style Chicken Biryani. Lavishly sprinkled with fried onions, cashew nuts and containing boiled egg apart from Chicken, doesn't this recipe look just delicious!

Lucknowi Biryani with its rich flavour of saffron, rose water, the expertly cooked chicken and the right mix of spices giving the long grained rice its memorable taste, is a recipe fit for the Nawabs!

Laced with fried onions and cooked in fine, fragrant condiments and spices, Hyderabadi Biryani is another big hit for me!

The above are just a few of the lip smacking variations of this recipe. India being a culturally vibrant country is full of many tasty varieties of Chicken Biryani.

3) Tunday Kebab
If you haven't eaten Tunday Kebab, named after their maker Tunday Kababi in Lucknow, these kebabs just melt in your mouth and are so tasty that they are sure to make you come back for more!

I love eating Tunday Kebab with green chutney, some onions and either roomali roti or ulte tawa ka parantha. Prepared in special spices, this recipe has fans all over the world. A not-to-be missed recipe, this one is a must-eat whenever I am in Lucknow.

Luckily, now a franchise of Tunday Kababi has opened in my city too which is like a boon from God. Really! Try out this recipe and you'll know why I love it so much.

4) Butter Chicken
Just imagine that creamy, slightly sweet but still spicy chicken cooked perfectly in a tomato rich gravy. Made you feel hungry, right? Well, this is what I feel whenever I think of this very sumptuous and a favourite of mine, recipe.

Ravish it with butter naan and you are in heaven!
I am always left drooling and craving the Butter Chicken or Chicken Makhani, whenever someone asks me about the food that I love and that make me drool.

5) Faluda Kulfi
A perfect summer treat, I absolutely love eating Faluda Kulfi. Malai Kulfi containing pista, kesar (saffron) and almonds, garnished with faluda which is flavourless like simple boiled noodles and flavoured with some rose flavoured sugar syrup, this recipe is a must eat and guaranteed to make you love it!

I still remember the day I bought my first bike. There were so many options but I wanted one that was stylish and value for money. I wanted a 'paisa vasool' bike.

I love exploring and buying things but consciously or unconsciously am always looking for 'paisa vasool' deals. We, Indians are like this. We know the value of money, have been taught never to spend recklessly and always lookout for a little extra in everything.

Getting something extra is always such a happy surprise and guaranteed to make us happy. So when I heard about the latest offering from Lufthansa which promises a total 'paisa vasool' experience, I just had to share the news with you all and read about it more myself.

Being a happy person, always on the lookout for great stuff available at great bargains, I think Lufthansa's Premium Economy Class is a definite hit here. Promising comfort, entertainment and personal space like the first class but at rates just a little above Economy class, here are the top reasons why I recommend Lufthansa's Premium Economy class to everyone.

5) Additional storage space at each seat to keep our important stuff with us on board. Forget those times when you had to separate from some of your stuff due to lack of storage space!

6) 2 * 50 lbs free baggage is another great thing about Lufthansa Premium Economy class. Now freely keep those extra things without worrying about baggage weight going overboard because now you get to keep one 50 lbs baggage for free!

7) Get pampered further with the travel kit you get when travelling in the Premium Economy class. Consisting of a toothbrush, a moist towelette, an eye mask and ear plugs, these are sure to keep you feeling fresh all through the flight.

I still recall that I was very naughty since my childhood and threw all types of tantrums but my mother was always patient with me and there to face my naughtiness & my tantrums. I love my mother the MOST as she is the only one with whom I share a special relationship that I can not have with anyone else.

My Mother is the one who always stands by my side, always teaches me what is wrong and what is right. She is patient, sometimes strict, sometimes lenient but always willing to give me a second chance when I am wrong which makes me humble and determined never ever commit that mistake again. She is my First Teacher, my Best Teacher!

She has solution to ever problem I have since I attract problems due to my being naughty but she handles all tough situations in a very commendable manner and to my satisfaction. I am her pride and she is mine!

She shares all my secrets but keeps them as if valuables have been deposited in a locker whose keys are in the possession of her and me only. We are proud that this trust has never been broken by either of the two.

She doesn't know how to drive but encouraged me to drive by sitting on passenger's seat, when no one else did! I am a good driver because of her faith in me.
She is my protector since my early days of going to school, playing indoor or outdoor and whenever I was in hot water, she always protected me and saved me from any untoward situation and that too without harming anybody's feelings.

The tasks she handles from early in the morning till the end of the day and that too of varied nature is the best example of Multi-Tasking which no processor can match.

I know my mother is always with me whenever I require anything in this world and with all expertise she has.

3) Become a popular and high-in-demand shutterbug with Zenfone 2's PixelMaster Camera.
Love clicking pics but dont want the hassle of sweating about light and brightness then Zenfone 2 has the perfect solution for you. With its PizelMaster Camera (Best low light features), you get the best low light photos. A 13 MP rear camera with dual tone flash, you get the best pictures and that too, without any hassles!

The front 5 MP camera is perfect for clicking selfies. Enjoy the crisp, vivid selfies and become popular by posting them. Clicking photos was never this easy and gave such awesome results before.

4) 60% battery level in 39 minutes
Gone are the days of boasting about long battery backup, Zenfone 2 gives you quick charging with 60% battery charged in just 39 minutes!

No need to nap while charging because charging your battery is now super quick due to the 8W Boost Master adapter in the Asus Zenfone 2.

5) 64 bit Intel atom quad-core processor , world's first phone to have 4 GB RAM and Android Lollipop operating system coupled with Asus' Zen UI skin.
Zenfone 2 is super powerful with a 64 bit Intel atom quad-core processor, has an impressive 4 GB RAM while also has Android Lollipop operating system coupled with Asus' Zen UI skin. The Zen UI skin is simple, easy to use and has some impressive UI elements. Zenfone 2 aso has a feature where we can open assigned apps if the corresponding gesture is drawn on the locked screen.

6) Classy, curved backs with metallic finish
The brushed aluminium look continues from the bottom front as was also seen in the previous Zenfone but now this premium metallic finish is also given to the back which adds more appeal and makes the all new Zenfone 2 look more luxurious. This aluminium finish available in a variety of colours reminded me of the iPhone 6 and has me all excited and I cant wait to have one in my pocket!
